Today is Weckmann day

This is the day the lanterns come out in Düsseldorf — and here the trays have been coming out of the oven since five in the morning. Eleven thousand Weckmänner, each with the clay pipe we order specially in August.

For nurseries and schools we bake to order, a whole class at a time if you like. One call to your shop and the box is ready in the morning.

If you still want one today: do not leave it too long. Tomorrow it is over, and then it is another year.
