Fair time — we stay open longer

When the big wheel goes up on the Rhine meadows, Oberkassel is a different quarter. Half of Düsseldorf walks past our door — and we stay open an hour longer, until seven.

Afternoons are worth the detour: fresh cake, iced coffee and a seat by the window while everybody outside heads for the meadow. Our strawberry cake is traditionally the first thing to go that week.

And on the last Sunday of the fair: come early. From four it fills up, when everyone comes back from the meadow hungry.
